As dawn breaks over downtown OKC, the first light catches our future headquarters—rising in Alley North—its weathering steel façade glowing in rich amber hues. This is more than a building. It’s the new imagery of Guernsey: a bold blend of industrial character and sustainable innovation.

Inside, mass timber beams and warm daylight create a workspace rooted in transparency, adaptability, and design excellence. Every element—from the rhythm of punched openings to the evolving patina of steel—tells a story of purpose and progress.

Coming soon to @okcinnovation’s Alley North district, our new HQ reflects not just where we work, but how we think.

Thoughtful design starts with understanding the people who will call a place home.

Our architect Kathryn Parkhurst brought that perspective to her presentation on Trauma-informed Design at the AIA Oklahoma Conference on Architecture.

She highlighted a recent piece of work (concept shown here) exploring how design can support vulnerable people while balancing privacy, connection, and a sense of belonging.

A few moments from our time on campus this career fair season. 🎓

Our team enjoyed meeting students, answering questions, and sharing what it’s like to build a career at Guernsey. With roughly 200 resumes collected, we had the chance to connect with a lot of talented people who are just getting started in the industry.

A beautiful sunset over a station that's already making an impact. 🚒

Since opening, the Newcastle Fire Station has supported nearly 3,000 calls, hosted training classes for other departments and agencies, and created new opportunities for the next generation of firefighters through an internship program with Newcastle High School. The program gives seniors interested in firefighting a semester of hands-on experience, from training and station operations to responding to calls alongside full-time firefighters.

The station has also welcomed Boy Scouts, daycare and preschool groups, church daycares, families and community members through its doors for tours.

More than a fire station, it's become a place to serve, train, learn and connect.

A little bit of Route 66 nostalgia, a whole lot of canned creativity! 🥫🛣️

For this year’s Salvation Army Canstruction event, Guernsey and our partner Vincit Constructors, took on the theme “Refueling Route 66” and built a canned-food replica of Oklahoma City’s iconic Milk Bottle Grocery building. Using roughly 3,800 cans and 4.5 hours of teamwork, we took a little piece of Oklahoma history and turned it into something that gives back to our community.

We’re proud to put our creativity to work for a great cause, helping support the Salvation Army’s efforts to provide food and assistance to those in need. Because when it comes to making a difference, every can counts!

Some projects ask you to create something new. Others ask you to honor what came before.

In 2017, our team designed the first phase of the Cimarron Electric Cooperative project. Nearly a decade later, we had the opportunity to return and complete the next chapter.

At first, that may sound straightforward. In reality, it meant understanding every decision made years earlier, from the design intent and materials to how people experienced the space, and ensuring the new work felt like it had always belonged.

It's about making the transition disappear. 💛🔌

The road to your next adventure starts here. ✈️

We’re giving Will Rogers International Airport’s passenger bridges a refresh! Our team has been working behind the scenes to improve these important connections between the terminal and the aircraft. What you will notice is a modernized look as well as new air-conditioning units to cool you down while you wait to board.

It may be just a short walk to the plane, but there’s a lot of design and engineering that goes into getting you there.
