TAKU, London. One Michelin Star. Located in the Mayfair district, definitely the best sushi restaurant I visited in London. So much creativity in the prepared dishes prior to the nigiri courses. Also an incredible sake pairing with multiple rare Aramasa bottles including Pink Unicorn ('The Chateau d'Yquem of Sake' the server proclaimed). Incredible. #Taku by @guest_informant

Smoked Room. Madrid. Two Michelin Stars. Entering this restaurant feels like you are stepping into Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. A special dimly lit hallway and behind two sliding doors in Dani Garcia's Lena is an all fire restaurant where every dish is kissed by fire or smoke. Completely amazing. This was my second visit. #SmokedRoom by @guest_informant

SingleThread. Three Michelin Stars. This was a special event co-hosted with Daniel Humm of Eleven Madison Park. The entire meal was vegan, but was absolutely incredible. I go to SingleThread probably at least once a year and this was one of my favorite visits. Really great. #SingleThread #ElevenMadisonPark by @guest_informant

Shion 69 Leonard. One Star. Had a sushi rumspringa away from @jac0928 late last year. Got to visit three sushi restaurants in NYC in three days. Shion was a close second to Yoshino, plus I ended up sitting next to Nas, which was crazy. #Shion69Leonard by @guest_informant

Kensei, Tenerife. Extraordinary quality sushi, especially considering the location both on an island and as a hotel restaurant. Really exceeded my expectations. I dined there twice in the five days were were on the island. #Kensei by @guest_informant

Geranium. Copenhagen, Denmark. Three Michelin Stars. #1 Top 50 Best (emeritus). Copenhagen's answer to The French Laundry. Everything was meticulous and service was expertly choreographed, but at the same time everything felt very stiff and the descriptions of each dish were robotically recited. Me and @jac0928 went there for lunch the day after Alchemist so that could have been part of why it wasn't one of my favorites. The melon sorbet with the orange tuille is still one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. by @guest_informant

Dos Pebrots, Barcelona. One of my favorite Barcelona restaurants. They have both tasting menu and a la carte options. In that same pantheon with Gresca and Bar Suru. Small plates done extremely well. Dos Pallilos, their other restaurant, is even better and closer to my flat. #DosPebrots by @guest_informant

CORE. Three Michelin Stars. Love Chef Smith. She catered several sessions at Cayman Cookout I enjoyed, and was super excited to finally dine at her restaurant. I was mostly disappointed but I think it was mostly about menu choice. I had the festival/seasonal menu while @jac0928 had the original menu. Pretty much each of the original dishes were better than the current menu. Would still go back next time I'm in London. by @guest_informant

COME, Barcelona. Two Michelin Stars. One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona. Elevated Mexican. Have had a way better experience here than multiple of the more recognized places (cough, CHT, cough). Definitely add it to your itenerary if you are visiting Barcelona by @guest_informant

The Alchemist Sommelier Table wine pairing. Pours were generous. One individual pairing was a Krug Vertical. The final pour in the salon was Macallan 25 which I have no recollection of. This was by far the best part of the experience. Also, me with Chef Rasmus Monk #Alchemist by @guest_informant
