NEXT WEEKEND: Our friends @wythenewyork will be in town hanging at the shop, and they’re hauling along a gang of their exclusive gear from their flagship in NYC. We’ll be welcoming our guy @mikeparenti to town on Friday night with a little happy hour from 5-7. Come by, drink a beer, touch some clothes, and if you’re really feeling crazy, you can even buy some. Mike will be on deck all day Saturday, chatting all things Wythe and taking votes on where to get barbecue. Throw it in your calendar and come through 🫡 by @guevelkc
We’ve got a whole grip of FW26 @3sixteen fresh in to the shop and dropping online at midnight. As always, everything is infinitely wearable and dialed on the details. - Commuter Shirt in Blue Mismatch Stripe Poplin: this is our first dance with the Commuter Shirt, a tailored casual take on a traditional dress shirt, cut from two blue poplin fabrics of varying stripe width. A very subtle shape, cut with a wide chest and shoulder and roomier sleeve. Smartly oversized without being sloppy. Really nice. $240 - Open Collar Shirt in Ecru Micro Plaid and Black Brown Micro Plaid: the Open Collar shirt returns in two beautiful micro check colorways with an excellent, silken hand. The troca shell shank buttons on this style are always a favorite. $220 - Utility Flannel in Espresso Twill Check: the thickest, bounciest flannel in our offering is the Utility Flannel in Espresso Twill. Raised, diagonal twill weave, soft hand, brushed on the inside for that extra comfort. Gorgeous. $240 - Club Jacket in Brown Crinkle Nylon: the Club Jacket returns in a deep brown nylon twill with a soft hand and just a hint of iridescence. Perfect early fall layering piece. $265 - Club Jacket in Indigo Kendo Cloth & Easy Pant in Indigo Kendo Cloth: for our money, the star textile of Drop 1 is this Japanese Kendo Cloth, iterated in the aforementioned Club Jacket and the Easy Pant, one of our favorite drawstring silhouettes. Given an enzyme wash to pull out the highs and lows of the sashiko weave, these pieces are real show stoppers. $385 and $285 respectively. As always, live at midnight. Bang our line with any questions and we’ll see you soon 🙏 by @guevelkc
Welcoming our old friends @engineered_garments_official back to the shop with a slate of their signature Work Shirts and a few classic Fatigues and Bedford Jackets. We’ve missed having the legendary New York label and couldn’t be more excited to have them back in the fold for Fall/Winter. by @guevelkc

@johan3sixteen and @camniederhauser recap our party at @guevelkc by @guevelkc
There are a handful of brands we’ve been working with for the whole 8+ years we’ve been open, but only one brand gets to be your first shipment. In this case, @3sixteen shipped me our first delivery a few months before we got the doors open, straight to my dining room on 75th St. in Waldo, all the way back in 2017. Since then, we’ve gone on to form a great friendship with their team. Over the years, we’ve collaborated on multiple special projects for the shop, gotten selfies from our customers who make it to their flagships in NY or LA, and spent hours on the phone talking about the state of business, the menswear world, denim in general, the Gunners (cc: @brando.boomin), and everything in between. These are our people. And we finally get to play host to our friends @andrew3sixteen and @johan3sixteen this Friday and Saturday! Friday from 5-8, we’ll be kicking back and celebrating the start of summer with beers and tequila courtesy of our friends @lalospirits. Come hang, meet the guys, have a drink and start your weekend right. On Saturday at 9am we’ll be hosting a 5K run with an assist from the team at @saucony, starting at the shop. We’ll breeze an easy few miles around the neighborhood and kick back at the shop with coffee and a few raffle prizes from 3sixteen’s Active Collection afterwards. There may or may not be a limited merch tee involved. Saucony will have some tester shoes available for the run if you’ve been thinking about a new pair or have been interested in their running gear! We hope you can make it one or both, we look forward to hosting you! by @guevelkc
When Cameron Niederhauser, owner of KC menswear store Guevel, first started selling denim, he quickly learned how fast trends shift. Today, Niederhauser is largely uninterested in chasing trends. Midwestern in nature, Guevel is built around the idea that well-made, practical staples never go out of style, and it primarily stocks American heritage and workwear items. Racks of wool sweaters, thick flannels and stacks of starched, raw denim jeans line the Westside shop. Loading up our first drop of @3sixteen Spring/Summer gear tonight at midnight — Featuring the Snap Western in Mocha Garment Dye: 3sixteen’s pared down western shirt is cut in a perfectly weighted, breathable, dry hand cotton/linen fabric and paired with a comfortable, easy fit. Finished with pearl snaps throughout. Really quite elegant. $240 The Harvest Pant returns for its’ second season in an excellent Patchwork Olive colorway. Paneled herringbone and flat twills in a range of washed out light and darker shades create a pant that draws the eye but doesn’t overwhelm. $285 Lastly, the Knit Shirt in Umber De Stijl is a vacation ready knit piece from Peru in a luxuriously soft Pima cotton. The design features another blocked/paneled design reminiscent of the De Stijl movement of primarily Dutch artists working in and around Amsterdam in the first part of the twentieth century. $265 Live at midnight! by @guevelkc
We’re going live tonight with a heater from @rgt — the fully reversible Field Shirt in Frogskin Camo. If you’ve been following the shop for a while, you know we’re a little crazy for Frogskin. Our favorite camo pattern, hands down. One its best qualities is the contrasting nature of the two sides of the fabric, the primary side in its traditional green and the reverse side in a tonal brown. This fabric has always been ripe for a reversible take, and this Field Shirt nails it. The green side features two snap chest pockets per Rogue’s normal pocket package for the Field Shirt, while the reverse brown side features two bucket patch pockets at the waist with more of a chore coat flavor. It’s two shirts in one, folks. Going live tonight at midnight! by @guevelkc
Before this gets too far in the rear view, huge thank you to the team at the @chiefs and @gehafield for having us as part of the 2025 Chiefs Style Lounge. For a dude who sells niche menswear, getting to do so at Arrowhead, a venue I’ve been going to since I was a kid and the site of some of my best memories, was a dream come true. Salute 🫡 by @guevelkc
Uhh wow, it has been a pretty crazy month/six weeks and I haven’t had the chance to properly thank everyone who made picking up and moving our shop not just a reality but a huge success. Moving a business, I just learned, is hard and messy and weird. But we found a lot of joy in the small moments of watching something new come together, a glimpse into the future of what our life as a shop could and would look like. All with the support of our friends and customers and family and neighbors. In no particular order — shout out to @3squarecontracting for working on the build out, @_hufft and the @thefabrication.company for building our beautiful centerpiece fixtures, the display table and denim wall, my guy @bhughs for an assist with lighting, @purelightelectrickc for jumping in on some lighting as well, @benkocinski with help with window vinyls and t-shirt design for the reopening, @duncandan for sketching up a beautiful flyer, @daviddewain and @jmartinbennett for wiring up our speakers, my dad Stan for his constant support and help moving all sorts of things from 1828 to 919, my wife @liz_niederhauser for taking time off from her own job to push us across the finish line in the final few days, @eastonkoch for holding down a ton of shop time solo at the old spot while I hammered away on the new space, and all of our friends who contributed support for the opening party — @lalospirits, @drinkbronsons, @oro.especial, and @therussellonmain. As they say, it takes a village and I am incredibly fortunate to say our village is both large and incredibly willing to lend a hand. If you haven’t had a chance yet, come and see us in our new home at 919 W. 17th St. I am, as always, just happy to be here. - Cam by @guevelkc
Our next Fall drop from @3sixteen launches tonight at midnight! Up first is the Western Overshirt in a rich Black Lyocell/Wool blend. The WO is one of our personal favorites — smart, subtle western flare, excellent detailing throughout — and this fabric is a perfect fit for the shape. The knitwear program is one of our most anticipated of the fall, featuring the Long Sleeve Polo and Cotton Crewneck silhouettes in both a Lapis Boucle and Bark Boucle. While both of these have previously been presented in alpaca yarns, this season 3sixteen has opted for a four season yarn in Peruvian cotton boucle. Cotton allows for a versatility and ease of maintenance that makes it feel infinitely more wearable & utilitarian. The boucle yarns add a knotty, ropey texture for a unique surface interest. Beautiful pieces, all clocking in at $245. Available in a few hours online and first thing in store tomorrow! by @guevelkc
