Treasure Seeker (Toto) in the Sunset

Love catching sunsets from the south of Tenerife, but this particular evening barely made it to Las Americas on time for the last rays of an already set sun. The sea was quite rough from left overs of a storm and to my surprise and in pandemic times caught this soul seeking treasure in the middle of a treasure of a view; La Gomera on the far right peeking from behind the breakers volcanic rocks, the coming Blue Hour on top, and smack in the middle the last of the sun rays engulfing the subject of my vista!

This photo was inspired on my friend Antonio Morin ( @totomorin.fotografo ) from Las Teresitas beach. Toto A great singer and accomplished portraiture artist, is a regular at Santa Cruz's most popular beach where he spends the last rays of the golden hour with his Garret detector combing the beach for lost items and hopefully a lost galleon treasure washing up at low tide...
