💔 by @guiselapc

Repost @mashjar_juthour
Palestinians are heroes. The way they march into an Israeli military court and smile and hold up the peace sign, knowing it means solitary confinement and torture. I was scared and I was angry. How dare they?! And my little six year old saying, "Why is it scary to go home?" No children anywhere in the world should be scared to get to their homes!

Honestly I couldn't even reverse my 4x4 truck down the winding hill because my leg was shaking so bad I struggled to use the clutch. And I had to scream at them to stop aiming their guns and let me come forward five feet to be able to straighten out and reverse. And the whole time thinking how my baby was seeing and hearing all of this. Children should get to be children. We were just trying to go home!

And after us the same thing happened to more cars and more cars. And often times a Palestinian gets shot, just trying to get home, because Israeli soldiers are nervous and trigger happy and not where they should be as they deal with national security of removing Palestinian flags. This story is decades old.

And we have all seen how it ends. How is this world so rotten?
It has failed generations of children.

And our story was just another day in Ramallah, in Palestine.

I filmed this yesterday Sept 26 just after it happened. by @guiselapc

Vote YES on 7 on November 3rd!

Repost @pvd_for_palestine On September 9th, Providence voters made their voices heard by electing candidates that were VOCAL in their support for Palestine and our ballot initiative.

This past week, Providence community members and organizers gathered to discuss Phase 3 of our campaign, where we'll be talking to voters around the city to ensure the people vote YES to divest! To win, we'll need your help though. Donate to our campaign at jvp.org/rhodeislanddonate!

Sign up to canvas with us at https:// volunteer.davidmoralespvd.com/! Or find both at the links in our bio. by @guiselapc
