"Looking back, it's kind of crazy to think that what started as a chance meeting in Saigon brought us all the way here," @glamwithtrish says of meeting her partner, @guitrang. The content creator and the scenic artist first crossed paths in Vietnam's most populous city in 2018—a chance meeting that changed everything. A move to New York and a few years later, the two found themselves engaged in their sunny Bushwick loft.

When it came time to marry, the couple kept things intimate by exchanging vows at New York City Hall, then gathering their closest loved ones on the rooftop of their Brooklyn apartment. "The city welcomes everyone: immigrants, artists, queers, and oddballs, the resilient, the young and the hungry, hustlers, strivers, and those who dream and make it happen,” Trang Nguyễn says of why a quintessentially New York city hall wedding felt kismet.
