Sometimes you need to add something slimmer to your streamer box! 🤏🏼 I absolutely love fishing with muddler streamers, but they aren't always the answer. Sometimes slimmer streamers can get the job done way more effective than streamers with fuller body. Why? I think the slimmer profile does a better job of imitating weak or injured baitfish. Fish are all about getting an easy meal without putting in too much effort or energy. And what's easier than catching hurt baitfish? This pattern is my own design, and it's easy, simple, and quick to tie. Feel free to experiment with different colors. Want to catch more trouts or arctic chars? Try to fish with gammarus! This pattern is one of my favorite fly when chasing selective trout or arctic char. 👌 Slovenian style scuds (developed by Ivo Kajznik) are uv-resin / epoxy coated and highly realistic gammarus patterns. With weighted body they reach the bottom fast.
