God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things that I can and Wisdom to know the difference.

Through my time at CSUN I have recited this prayer to myself when I felt like I didn’t have anyone, not even myself present to help me through what I was going through. A lot of my heartache, stress, and struggles came from my hard headedness while some were uncontrollable but I learned valuable lessons that are imperative now and to my future. One thing I will always take away from this prayer from the day I comprehended it to today is that if I want to exceed my own expectations or have others live up to mine I must be able to be accepting. courageous and wise. I am immensely proud of myself, I continue to surprise myself with my resilience 🤍.
