honestly i don’t know when it flipped for me (or started to), but life gets extraordinarily more gratifying when you are just trusting that everything meaningful happens on the other side of uncertainty. i have had a lot of moments that felt like I was lost, behind, or had no idea what I was doing and tbh those are usually the exact moments new parts of my persona/character former. i’ve had social media forever and built this bubbled world through interests where i felt like other ppl i was around didn’t understand/like me which was very uncomfortable, and that made me shrink into a version of myself that was more focused on perception than connection. it’s lowkey freeing (highkey) to transition out of that and sit with being uncomfortable until you’re truly comfortable enough with yourself to the point where your attention is better spent being only on the people, places, and opportunities that truly matter. i think then, you really gravitate or people gravitate towards you because you are truly You.

once I stopped worrying about how I was being perceived, I started seeing how much there is to be grateful for right in front of me. life feels much more richer when gratitude turns uncertain or uncomfortable times into exploration or adventure (finding yourself/answers or a literal adventure because a solo trip to a new city means finding out what you’re going to do for the day & end up having a beautiful experience/meeting new people)

i have a career that puts me in front of 100s of people everyday where they are counting on me being their leader, so it is just really rewarding to witness some growth first hand when i used to hate being uncomfortable and talking… now i kinda thrive in it & am way more confident in daily life because i am tru and know myself
