Another day throwing these @nolivebaitneeded 3oz with 5” baits, got chewed both on top water and down deep. Day 1 at @cedros_sportfishing_withtoro started a little slow till I tied on my @nolivebaitneeded 4oz jig head with the 8 inch straight-tail and first drop bit, the Yellowtail couldn’t resist, tied the 3oz jig head with the 5 inch paddle-tail and same results, these baits with @bkkhooks_americas are the real deal. So stoked to get to field test them and catch the first west coast yellowtail on a NLBN after they’ve already proven themselves on east coast. Back on land from our @fish101restaurant charter aboard the legendary @american_angler_longrange. Mother Nature made it difficult this trip but that just made Captain @rg_lopez and his dialed in crew dig in harder. Not the counts we were all hoping for but every Bluefin that came over the rail was an absolute unit and every Grom on the boat got to catch their pb, @mason_nichols_6 landed this cow weighing in at 218. John’s hook and hand skills, rad group of anglers, the entire crew, the meals and a bunch of reds kept everyone stoked.
