Good chili and even better company: this year’s Main Street Altus Farm Fest was a great reminder of what makes our community special.

We had a great time getting out of the office, catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and enjoying everything Downtown Altus had to offer.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to Main Street Altus for bringing our community together. We’re already looking forward to next year! by @gunkellawgroup

We sat down with Kayla to ask a simple question: What’s one legal document every small business should have?

With a background in agriculture and a legal career focused on the people who work the land, run businesses, and build legacies of their own, Kayla knows how important it is to plan ahead.

Hear her answer and why the right paperwork today can prevent bigger headaches tomorrow. by @gunkellawgroup

This weekend, Preston Gunkel received the Spirit of Altus Award, and we got to celebrate with the people who know what this town means to him.

Preston has always believed in investing in Altus. He’s the one who steps in, steps up, and makes sure the job doesn’t just get done - it gets done well. That exact spirit has shaped Gunkel Law Group, too.

Even with the growth of the Oklahoma City location, Preston has made sure this would bring more resources to Altus. It has been clear through this whole process that it matters to him that the community where we started stays at the heart of what we do.

Congratulations, Preston. Altus is lucky to have you. by @gunkellawgroup

All proceeds of the event went to updating the Women's Center at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
