ADVENTURE TOGETHER

✨💚🌊🌿🥾🌲🔥

It’s so exciting to see our community grow over the last few weeks! From our first meet-ups with as few as 2 or 3 of us, we’ve now grown into a community 150 strong!! 🥳

And we’re only just getting started! September is looking busy, with more hiking and paddleboarding, plus beach BBQs, sunrise swims, woodland saunas and more!! 🌊🥾

Want to get involved? Join our WhatsApp community to meet a lovely group of like-minded people and keep up with all our upcoming meet-ups. 🫶 taken in Norfolk, UK by @gunnadventure

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 5
🇮🇹 Courmayeur ➡️ Tronchey

🥾 15.5km, 5.5hr, 1000m gain, 450m loss

🏔️ Today began with a steep climb out of Courmayeur, from which we were rewarded with most epic views of the Mont Blanc range that stayed with us for the rest of the day!

⛺️ Opting for a slightly shorter day we dropped down into the valley at Tronchey to stay at a campsite. I had a very refreshing glacieral shower, as I didn’t have a euro coin for the hot water 🥶

🍺 This evening we had beer, with delicious local cheese and ham at ristorante L’Oasi.

Perfetto!! 🤌🏻

Pretty amazing to see what this little idea has turned into over the last few months! 🌊💚

I started @norfolkadventureclub back in June with a pretty simple idea: bring people together, get outside and have more adventures around Norfolk.

Fast forward a few months and we’ve now got over 230 people in the community, and we’ve been busy! Surfing, paddleboarding, hiking, sunrise swimming, woodland saunaing and plenty more along the way. 🏄‍♀️🥾🌅🔥

But the best part has easily been the people.

I’ve met some brilliant people, made new friends and watched loads of others do the same. It’s been amazing seeing people turn up to their first meet-up not knowing anyone and leave already planning the next one.

It’s also made me realise just how much there is to do right here in Norfolk. Some brilliant local businesses, outdoor providers and places to explore, all sitting pretty much on our doorstep.

There are loads more ideas in the works, more local collaborations to come and plenty of adventures still to be had.

Very excited to see where we can take this thing.

See you out there! 💚

Thetford ‘Heavy’ Half Marathon 🏃‍♂️🏃🏃‍♂️

5 Laps, 26km, some running, some grumbling, some achy legs, and a little cramping to finish 😅 … a fun day out in the sun! 🔆

Thanks @zigzag_running team for putting on a great event! taken in Thetford Forest by @gunnadventure

Here’s your reminder to say ‘YES’ the next time your friends are planning an adventure, whatever the weather. Turns out the rainy ones make some of the best memories! ⛰️🌧️

Wet, tired, with legs that definitely knew they’d hiked 25 miles, we raced down the final peak to make the 12-hour challenge cut-off with minutes to spare 😂

A weekend full of laughs and great memories with this awesome adventure crew 🙌
