🇬🇧 CZ BREN 3 in .300 BLK with an integrated suppressor. You can hear the difference in the rate of fire between supersonic and subsonic ammunition. But the cool thing is that you don’t have to adjust anything — it runs just fine with both!

A perfect day spent with @copperkaya and @classicfirearmsofficial back in the day. 🔥

The Springfield Echelon's COG (Central Operating Group) is a removable, serialized stainless steel chassis that houses all fire control components. Legally, the COG is the firearm itself—the polymer grip module is simply an accessory. You can swap grip modules in seconds without a new background check, transforming the pistol's frame size or texture. Mechanically, it operates on the same modular principle as SIG Sauer's P320 FCU, but with a secondary sear for improved drop safety.

🇬🇧RV-85 Grenade launcher made by BRNO firearms company
The weapon was designed for firing specialized ammunition in enclosed spaces, such as for enabling hostage rescues or forcing individuals out of buildings.

The RV-85 is a single-shot rifle designed to fire 26.5 mm cartridges. It features a 500 mm barrel with a smooth, hard-chromed bore. The breech is tilting, operated by a top-mounted lever. Opening the breech cocks the hammer and automatically activates the safety. The weapon is also equipped with a manual sliding safety located at the front of the trigger guard. Cartridge extraction is facilitated by an extractor located under the barrel. The weapon is equipped with a folding rear sight for firing at distances of 50 and 100 meters. Its maximum range is approximately 700 meters, with a reported muzzle velocity of 100 m/s. There were around 3000 pieces made in 1980s.

The main grenades developed for this weapon were named Generátor and Tulák (Generator and Hobo).

The P365's Fire Control Unit (FCU) is the removable, serialized chassis that holds the trigger and sear—legally, it's the 🔫 itself. You can swap it between different grip modules, slides, and barrels in minutes, transforming a pocket rocket into a full-size range piece with just a single pin. Genius!

Flintlock! A little 2A history. Speaking of flintlocks, the "American Long Rifle" was an iconic, muzzle-loading firearm known during the War of Independence for its accuracy at ranges over 200 yards, far exceeding the 50-100 yard effective range of the common smoothbore musket. However, its precision came at the cost of a very slow reload and a lack of a bayonet mount, making it a specialized tool. While frontier riflemen were celebrated early in the war, they constituted a small minority of the forces, and General Washington eventually limited their numbers due to their tactical drawbacks. Ultimately, the fast-loading "Brown Bess" musket was the decisive and most commonly used weapon of the war for both sides. Have a happy and safe 4th!🇺🇸

The FK Brno PSD is a polymer‑framed semi‑auto pistol released in 2019 as a more affordable successor to the all‑steel Field Pistol. Its proprietary 7.5 FK cartridge drives a 95‑gr projectile at 2,000 fps for 850 ft‑lbs of energy, nearly double standard 9mm +P, while a tungsten‑weighted, "recoil-attenuation" recoil system softens the impulse substantially. Interesting piece.
