Serving on Council at City of Brampton and Region of Peel

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Growing up, papa would take us kids to work. Show us how hard it is to make a living. More importantly it was one of the few ways we got to spend time together.

Today, I got to take Papa to work and have him sit beside me at the Council table while I chaired the meeting. I got to show him that his hard work is paying off. taken in Brampton City Hall by @gurpartapstoor

RECAP: As Region of Peel Councillor, I’m proud to have brought this investment into our community where it was most needed for our growth. LARGEST Paramedic Station in our history, and God it’s beautiful.

Let’s recap my 4 years in office. First order of business was opening the GTA’s first new medical university in over a 100 years.

Ever wondered what it’s like to sit in Council Chambers and take part in a real City Council meeting? Join us for a Youth Mock Council at City Hall, where youth will get the opportunity to step into the shoes of a councillor, debate ideas, discuss issues that matter to young people, and make REAL CHANGE in our community. This is a great opportunity to speak up, share your ideas, meet other youth, and experience local government firsthand. There will be free pizza and snacks, city council tour, and the opportunity to talk with Councillor Toor! Everyone is welcome! #youth #community #change #cityofbrampton #applynow taken in Brampton City Hall by @gurpartapstoor

Lululemon opened the doors of its largest distribution centre right here in Brampton, adding +1500 jobs to our local economy. I’m proud to have been involved in this 1 million sf project from the start to finish. This is the largest project wards 9&10 has ever seen, and it won’t be the last. by @gurpartapstoor
