To see what I looked like 10 years ago … and to know people would still say I was fat or ugly or even werid and now I see what I am now and how my health took over me makes me so upset. Allowed the noise to get the best of me. Time for me to get back to what I used to be and feel beautiful and embrace it. My song is inspired by the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:1–28. When I read her story, I see a reflection of myself in her faith, her pain, and her deep desire for a miracle. Hannah was a woman who carried a desire in her heart that only God could fulfill. She prayed, she wept, and she poured out her soul before the Lord, believing that He heard her even when her circumstances had not changed.

When I look at Hannah, I see a woman who reminds me that it is okay to cry out to God, to be honest about my pain, and to keep believing even when the answer has not yet come. Her story inspires me to bring my own desires, hopes, and prayers before God with the same sincerity and faith that she showed.

Through my song, I express my desire to experience the kind of miracle Hannah received. I look up to her not only because God blessed her with a son, Samuel, but also because of the way she trusted Him through her waiting season. I want my song to reflect the prayers I whisper, the tears I shed, and the hope I continue to carry in my heart.

Hannah’s story reminds me that God sees what others may not understand, hears the prayers that come from the deepest places of our hearts, and welcomes us when we come before Him in faith. Her testimony gives me hope that I can trust God with my own journey, even when I do not know when or how He will answer. And I want to thank my brother in law and my Husband for being my song to life, finding a way to make it very intimate because it is. Another year to give the lord thanks ! I went to a pilgrimage trip, went to Europe and went to Fatima, Lourdes, France, Paris, Barcelona, Italy ( Rome ) and assist where I got to see st. Clara and Carlos Acutis! During this trip I prayed a lot for everyone intentions but most of all for myself. I didn’t realize how much I needed this, it was a time to reflect on what I needed, and in my notes I see I have a lot of work to do. Respect has been something big in my heart and where I’m not respected I build a big wall. The lord today told me that it’s okay that he will handle the rest. I have a few things in my heart that I pledge to have with Jesus and he’s so good that he gives when he knows I’m ready. During this special day I’m closing my chapter of 29 years old. I want to thank my parents for saying yes and keeping me even when there was times that in dark moments there was fear, I’m still here! The blessings is having me on a day like today. Thank you to my friends who I met along the way. Thank you for always giving me great advice and support in my spiritual journey. To my Husband, thank you for taking the time to reflect and understand , thank you for loving me dearly, the lord knew I needed to have you with me because I can’t do it all alone. I can’t ask for a better man to share the rest of my life with, I can’t wait to come home to you.! Happy birthday to me 🙏🏼✨ by @guttaamoris
