Was so excited to try this double sided concept for the first time this week and met some amazing people while out there—more pics to come!

Hands down my favorite shot this summer—saw clouds turning pink and knew I had to get to higher ground to catch this sunset.

At the time, I was annoyed with how the day was going but if it had gone as planned, I wouldn’t have been in the area to catch this.

Turned into a beautiful reminder to slow down a little and go with the flow.

Prints/framed art available soon! ✨ taken in Chinatown, Chicago by @guybythewater

Beach Sculpture No. 20
Ohio St. Beach, Chicago | 2022

I forgot my buckets for carrying water, but a bunch of kids came running up wondering what I was working on and asked if they could help.

We found a chip bag, grocery bag, and plastic water bottles to haul water from the lake, and just like that, I had an army of little helpers carrying water in the most random assortment of containers.

Is it all a dream?

It gets so clear you begin to wonder what’s real.

Also, this is how I get my reflection shots: right place/right time, camera lens close to the ground, lighting is key. Ideally, the subject is well lit and the puddle is in a shadow.
