Throwing back to 2011, some of my favourite portrait images I've ever shot. I have very fond memories of this time. My career was in it's infancy, and it was a special period of experimentation, where you just blindly try things out without any attached expectations..

The subject is now very well known. Israel Adesanya - @stylebender who at the time was also beginning his career as a mixed martial artist.

These images remain in my portrait portfolio to this day, some 15 years later. Proving that simple, timeless and elevated photography stands the test of time. taken in Auckland, New Zealand by @guycoombes
