Excited to share this latest collaboration with the team at @base44.app This piece follows a real story from within their customer experience team - where a late-night operational challenge led to building a custom internal tool. We approached the video as a hybrid of testimonial storytelling and motion design, combining the interview with full-bleed motion sequences and UI-driven visualizations to reflect the system being described. From a creative perspective, we began by sketching the scenes in black and white - mapping out narrative structure, layouts, and key visual moments before introducing any color or branding. Once the structure was locked, we layered in Base44โ€™s new brand language as the foundation for the visual direction. Our latest motion kit for @liorschleien packs everything into one system - logo opener, titles, supers, pop-ups, framing, subtitles, and more. We built and animated the full package, then turned it into an Essential Graphics toolkit so editors can move fast, stay flexible, and keep the visual DNA intact. Introducing MotionXAI - a new series where we break down how we combine motion design with AI tools to bring ideas to life. ๐Ÿค–โœจ This time: a breakdown from a recent TV spot we wrapped up for a yogurt brand. We used Weavy from start to finish - from creating 3D models of the spoon, fruits, and yogurt, to using the motion graphic reference we animated in After Effects inside the @weavy_ai platform to help us achieve the final animation. Then we used Nano Banana to enhance lighting, textures, and the overall look, and combined the motion ref with the final visuals in Luma Modify to bring everything to life. One of our main challenges in the film VAXA was designing a lovable, memorable hero - that just happens to beโ€ฆ a micro-algae ! We started with classic 3D modeling, based on some early AI generations of our green little creature. The results were promising, but the client wanted to design something closer to its natural form. So we turned back to AI - and after several iterations, we landed on the perfect look. From there, we entered a meticulous (and fun) workflow with @weavy_ai , building a custom node-based world to bring this character to life. Curious to see more behind the scenes?
