“It looked back.”
That’s how the story starts—with a creature by Gwaxng @gwaxng, the Seoul-based artist turning cuteness into quiet chaos. Ceramic, sweet, and staring straight at you.

Okay, pause. Look again. That thing you thought was cute? It’s watching you.

Gwaxng’s work is like emotional ceramics gone rogue. Plush-anxiety, sculpted in sugar-glaze, staring at you with eyes too round to trust.

These creatures aren’t safe. But they’re not villains either.

They’re asking you something—something between a laugh and a whisper. Based in Seoul and rising fast, Gwaxng sculpts feelings you forgot you had, then makes you hold them. Hard. Soft. Scary. Real. You’ve never seen “cute” like this.

🧠 Artist: Gwaxng Portrait Image (first slide by @le.syndrome - Le Syndrome )

🎨 Medium: Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting
📍 Based in: Seoul, South Korea

Current Solo exhibition @roygalleryseoul Roy Gallery Seoul
Update coming @vinylonvinyl 🇵🇭 Vinyl on Vinyl

Follow Gwaxng for more uncanny tenderness, candy-glazed monsters, and figures that hold a mirror.

Save, share, and keep an eye on him—he’s already watching by @gwaxng
