I was going in a slightly different direction with these new pieces, but then one afternoon a hummingbird drifted into my house as if it was carried in on a breeze. As I watched my husband bird whisper it out of the house, I was reminded of this hummingbird pendant sketch I made a long time ago and set aside. This little visitor seemed like a sign to finally bring it to life.

Hummingbirds are thought of as messengers from other worlds, departed loved ones reminding you that they are near. Comforting and magical.
