Bound by Fate.

Four hundred years is a long time to wait for a miracle. But Lucas didn’t just wait—he searched. Through every century, every shadow, and every heartbeat that wasn’t hers.

He is the lethal guardian she was born for. The monster she never saw coming. And now that he’s found her, he’s never letting go again.

Looking for a Romantasy with slow burn yearning? 🔥

How about he’s been searching for his soul bound mate to reincarnate for 400 years?!?!

The Skaydancer series is perfect for fans of Laura Thalassa and Rachel Gillig. Lucas really starts to shine in Book 2, but be warned there is a currently unresolved love triangle. 😇

Speaking of 5-Star Reads 🌚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The One Dark Window duology made me an instant fan of Rachel Gilig. It has a TOTALLY unique magic system (hard to do!) a mystery, a fun adventure romp, gothic atmosphere, and tons of slow burn tension (2 couples). I can also highly recommend the audio version. I listened to it over winter break a couple years ago and it was the perfect time of year, so if this is still on your TBR, move it up to read in the next couple months! 👌🏻

The Ward witch who waited ten years. The Oracle witch running from death omens. The 400-year-old half-demon shifter bound to her soul. 🔮✨

When fate, ancient magic, and an unresolved love triangle collide in the moody PNW, nobody comes out unscathed.

📚 THE SKYDANCER SERIES is an atmospheric PNW witchy romantasy that’s Practical Magic meets The Vampire Diaries, with the 10-year pining of The Notebook and the centuries-deep soul ties of A Discovery of Witches!

🖋️✨WRITING (life) UPDATE

Alas, the horrors of adulthood persist. The start of the school year takes a lot out of me, and it’s that liminal time between summer and fall in the PNW when you must rake but also water daily because the weather reports are categorically unreliable 😅 Combined with the end of motorcycle riding weather and start of the football season, my “free” time is in very short supply 🫠

BUT

1. I am 2/3 through my second round of edits on Bound Fae Kings Book 1. Which is to say I am second-guessing everything in my story right now (as one does 60% through the edit slog).

2. I continue to get lots of fun ideas for Book 3, and my voice notes are piling up. The plot bunnies are doing their thing.

3. Book 2 goes to the editor in October 👻👻

4. I get to look at draft cover layouts for Kings book 1 tomorrow!!!

So, lots of fun things happening behind the scenes over here! Im super excited for hoa-hoa-hoa season, because I do my best work during the long dark 😈

What are your priorities this fall?

Sometimes even an Oracle can’t see the disaster coming for her. Briana has a fated mess to untangle, and to do it, she’ll have to put her faith in some very dangerous immortals…

Who said magic has to be complicated? 🧹☕️

Writing witchy fiction has made me realize one thing: modern witches don’t have time for elaborate rituals every day. We’re busy. 🫠

Here are 6 modern “spells” for the everyday witch trying to navigate normal life.

Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances approved.

Manifesting that the readers who like their stories dark, emotional, high stakes, romantic, and full of magic somehow find me.

I am tired.

I want to write. Creating wolds and characters fuels my soul like nothing else. And I want to share my stories with like-minded witchy women.

But this system, polluted by bots and controlled by power-hungry men, feels like it is designed to suppress authentic voices and bury books that don’t fit the trends. If you want reach, you have to run on the hamster wheel, and I refuse.

I don’t want to be a “content creator.” I already created the content—300,000 words worth of magical romantic fantasy. I already paid for it with carpal tunnel and back aches and tears. Late nights. Early mornings. 3am wake-ups. Missed social gatherings.

So… I’m just going to keep showing up in a way that feels natural, posting pretty pictures and… hoping.

If you want a taste of the magic that swirls just beyond the veil… check my links. 🙏🏻✨
