🎨✨ Meet this month’s featured members for #GammasOutLoud:🎨Sister Dionne is attending a UChicago teacher seminar this week and next week called Black Cinema: History, Aesthetics, Audiences. She’s keeping her hands busy making Mandalas.🧵Sister Venise connected with artists in the MFA Fashion Studios at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. They are collaborating on a photo transfer textile project: Sister Venise is assisting with beading and embroidery.🎶 Brother Andre is preparing student art portfolios at Alternative Schools Network of Chicago for their August 6th Exhibition “Chi Town’s Finest”.📚 Sister Searra installed artwork and fellowshiped with Chicago artists for a group exhibition at the Bronzeville Coffee Co.These artists are making an impact through their creative work and living the values of Gamma every day.Show them some love in the comments!#gammaxiphi #gammasoutloud by @gxpkappa

Gamma Xi Phi takes seriously the responsibility of initiating new members. This fraternity is not for people who want a social media moment or a chance to be "Greek" by any means necessary.This is a community of working artists first and foremost. When we get together, we change the world through our individual crafts, but also together, through artistic community service and the uplift of artistic organizations.
