Congrats to Brother Suliman for being honored with a resolution from the city of Newark for his phenomenal artwork he has done across the city in service to the community. His newest murals are proudly being displayed downtown Newark on Market and Washington street and on Ferry Street for the Newark Fan Village in support of the FIFA World Cup!

Shoutout to our very own Bro. Dennis Philbert (Γ-Spring 19) for making history at the 2025 National Speech and Debate Association National Tournament.

Under Bro. Philbert’s tutelage, for the first time in Newark Public School history, he had 2 students place in the final round of a main event at the tournament. Finishing in 5th and 6th place respectively. As elevating the team to win a top 20 speech school of excellence award!

Bro. Philbert is not only an alum of the Central High School speech team but has served as the coach for 27 years.
