Throwback to 1976!

Here’s me and my big brother Jose back then — and this past month, in El Salvador, his first time back after 45 years! Watching him rediscover the country where our family is from was incredibly special.

Politics can be complicated and don’t always reflect my own views, but I recognize the positive changes that have made El Salvador feel safer for its people and more inviting. It’s been amazing to see more travelers experiencing this beautiful country and its warm, resilient people. All politics aside, sometimes you have to experience things yourself to truly know what’s going on. 💙
