The internet was already going wild about it, and honestly, there was no escaping the hype. But actually experiencing Ghost of Yotei myself… wow. I’m genuinely surprised by how quickly I got sucked into the story and how huge my urge already is to explore every inch of the map. Only a few hours in, and I’m so curious to see what’s still coming.

Hah, I’m a bit behind on posting my Platinum trophy gaming achievements here… so get ready for a little catch-up. Luckily, a post about The Walking Dead still feels right on time now that spooky season has officially begun.🍁🎃👻

Telltale’s The Walking Dead has quite a few entries in the series. They’ve been out for a while, but this year I finally played through them all (except Michonne’s story). What a beautiful final chapter it was, such a strong ending 🫶. It kept me hooked from start to finish.

Gooodmorning 🥰. Miko, our super sweet, cuddly, and playful 4-month-old ragdoll kitten, has been living with us for a week now ❤️. Not much gaming space at the moment since most of my free time goes into the cats and the introduction between Miko and Kira 😅. We’re making progress, but we can tell our girl Kira needs us to take it slow 🤞.

When I do find a little window to turn on the PlayStation, I dive back into the nostalgia of Bioshock. I never actually finished part 2, so it’s about time!

Hi all 👋! I finally took the time to finish Nexomon after two years and earned my 61st platinum trophy this weekend!

This game is such a fun little experience, especially if you (like me) love monster-tamer games. The humor is great (though even better in its sequel, Nexomon Extinction), and the overall vibe is super cozy.

Getting the platinum isn’t too difficult. You’ll mostly spend time collecting all the creatures, including some legendaries with random encounters. But honestly, even that wasn’t too bad!

Check! Platinum no. 60 is in the bag! I first played Murdered: Soul Suspect years ago, but I was still missing a few collectable related trophies. Sooooo last weekend, I just went ahead and played through it again. 😄

Really fun game, by the way! You play as a detective who... yep, you guessed it... tries to solve his own murder. BAM! A cool story to dive into between bigger games.

It’s done, it’s over… I’ve finished Dragon Age: Inquisition! Haha, back in October, I thought I’d get through it in about a month… and here we are, in February! Oops.

But wow, what a story! I enjoyed every moment of it, and I’m so glad I got to experience all of this before starting with The Veilguard.

But first, I’ll play a few smaller games in between… haha! 😆

First completion of 2025, whoop whoop! And still in January, mwuahaha. I finally got the platinum trophy for Life is Strange: Double Exposure! 🎉

Am I GLAD to be done with that one 😅. To collect all the trophies, you have to do two full playthroughs without skipping any scenes, and by the second run, I was definitely over it. The story is nice and definitely worth a shot if you're a fan of the Life is Strange series, but I feel like the developers could’ve done more with it. The characters felt a bit shallow, and you’re nowhere near as invested in Max’s actions compared to the earlier LiS games. A bit of a letdown, but oh well. Still happy I played it! 😊

What’s your favorite childhood game?

Spyro has always been my ultimate childhood favorite, and it’s the game I keep coming back to the most. Playing it on the Steam Deck makes it even better: just cozying up on the couch with some TV on in the background. Pure nostalgia and relaxation!
