❓Why “GYNEVERSE”?
Gyne:refers to female/female reproductive organ.
verse aka ˈvərs. : a line of writing in which words are arranged in a rhythmic pattern.

Spent months brainstorming over names with friends to find a name that could relate to everyone who has spent time with me in the last few months perusing the research I have doled out to them.

I wanted a name that would represent me and also would stay in the minds of all of you who spend your precious time on my page.

🎶There is a rhythm in a baby’s heartbeat,there is a rhythm in the menstrual cycle.

Navigating through this multiverse of the reproductive system,”Gyneverse” felt perfect..
So,here we are,your fervid_gynaecologist is now “Gyneverse”

A recent study has linked straightening/ relaxing treatments with increased estrogen-like chemicals in the body. And subsequently, an increased incidence of #uterinecancer . The risk of uterine cancer seems to increase the more one uses these treatments- it was higher for women who straightened their hair four or more times a year. In a world searching for a “cure for cancer,” we seem to be neglecting the obvious - trying to PREVENT these cancers from ever happening. Scientists are making such brilliant breakthroughs in technologies giving us ways to maybe avoid some cancers altogether - let’s do our bit to protect ourselves!
