Four days of designing for @shopbop in our own backyard.

These events for MOTHER, SIMONMILLER, and Barbour each brought a different mood to the table, and we loved translating every one of them into flowers. Where fashion meets nature is our favorite place to work.

Thank you for having us, Shopbop. What a joy.

Art inspired by the art on your plate.

Our friends @nixtataqueria celebrated seven years and the debut of their gorgeous new cookbook, From Tacos to Tahdig, and we wanted to create something worthy of the occasion.

Each chef’s station received its own floral piece, composed around the food they were sharing:

For Mercado Sin Nombre, pomegranates and lush florals spilling from an amphora, a romantic counterpoint to their airy Twinkie. @mercadosinnombre

For Atomic Workshop, peanuts we strung by hand into a playful sculpture, a little love letter to their shot of peanut milk. @statebirdprovisions

For Turkey and the Wolf, we went bold, bright and unapologetically orange to match their wonderfully playful energy. @turkeyandthewolf

For Roya, one of my personal Austin favorites alongside Nixta, pomegranate and eggplant honored both their dish for the evening and the ingredients woven throughout their menu. @royaaustin

And for our guests of honor, a citrus filled entry installation pulled its palette straight from the cookbook cover, welcoming everyone into a little slice of Nixta heaven.

Every ingredient, color and stem was chosen with intention. It’s such a joy to celebrate people who pour so much heart into what they create. We loved pouring ours into this.

What a dream.

A tablescape and installation for the Barbour Bash with @shopbop, made to feel like a long, lingering afternoon in the English countryside.

Confession: the grapes were our favorite part.

Pink and red together can feel like a risk, but when you keep them in the same warm family and play with every shade, they melt into each other beautifully.

Add ivory for breathing room, a little green for contrast, and voila! the color palette comes together.

It may be fall, but we’re daydreaming about spring as we welcome our wonderful couples for next year.

Carlin + Connor’s day at @commodoreperryauberge still lives rent free in our minds. A palette of soft green and ivory. We tucked in limes and clusters of green grapes for texture, so every piece felt a little like a garden in full bloom.

You saw one perfect evening. We saw weeks of planning, moodboards and mockups, endless flower orders, and one very full truck.

Worth every minute.

Designing for the artists who soundtrack your studio days is its own kind of special.

Music has always been part of how we create. Getting to return the favor in flowers is something we'll never quite get over.
