Thank you to a bunch of wonderful peeps that made yesterday's gig, after what has been a long hiatus for us!

Starting with the talented musicians & the team of the Pune Jazz Project Band.....and of course Sid & Suchi of Suwaddo for hosting it, their friends who added their efforts at the bar & kitchen....what a great gig and afternoon it turned out to be.

Calvin aka Wumbaya for the great sound engineering & the impromptu jam with the band.

Arnold for coming over to help with the beautiful videos & pictures that willcapturesome of the wonderful memoriesof the afternoon.

Also, our partners Sober & Co and Sula for supporting this event.

And of course lastly, the guests who came, danced, sang along, cheered & made it a fun Sunday.

We definitely want to get back to doing more gigs....this one was a stark reminder of how much we have missed hosting them 😍

We have been on a brief hiatus, but that's also so that we can attend gigs where we are not working 😁

Spent a fab evening last night, listening to @anikabharwani who has done a Gig with us a few years back & this time she was performing for the 1st time ever with a full fledged band....4 musicians accompanying her. So the energy was definitely up by not just a few notches 😍

The opening act by another female artist that we like @jennmsteeves definitely gave a great start to the evening 😍

A lovely Thursday night out at @theflyinggoat.goa ....nothing beats live music peeps!

Love how people in this world connect, especially through music.
This article on Gypsy Gigs was written by Vivekanand Singh of the Dainik Khojkhabar, a newspaper from the north.
But how he discovered about Gypsy Gigs, is another beautiful story, thanks to a friend @misskachru who he was originally looking to cover for an article and reached out to us as she had attendeda gig in the past.
Why?
Because in 1991, she featured in a music video of one out of the 4 Ghazals from the album 'Sajda', which for the 1st time has Lata Mangeshkar & Jagjit Singh singing together.
One thing led to another, and the rest is history as they say 😍

But as the article states, Goa offers all lot more than the beaches, especially with regards to culture, art, history & of course music.
And we are thrilled to be a small part of the rich tapestry of music in this state.

Welcome to our April edition of Gypsy Gigs, where we have another fabulous artist Dhruv Kapoor & Friends.
Dhruv is an independent singer-songwriter, whose music blends
warm, soothing vocals with gentle acoustic melodies, reflecting his journey
across cultures.
He is taking a stop in Goa as part of his all India tour, doing a chill acoustic trio set.
Over the years, his music has amassed over 2.5 million streams. His most famous song, "What is Love," has garnered over a million streams.
He has done a three-city tour with Taba Chake, multiple shows with Sofar Sounds, and has played at venues like Summerhouse, Piano Man Jazz Club, and Fandom.
