There is something about #traveling that really opens you up, gets you out of your comfort zone and you open a vein and bleed into the experience. From the moment you are on the plane, suspended above countries and oceans, you escape into all kinds of mindscapes of your own choosing. Then you land and navigate the new territory and leave yourself to serendipity, with alleyways and encounters that you can’t and shouldn’t plan for. One last post from #Iceland. Hiked a 1000 year old glacier (note the oh-so-safe soggy wooden plank that traverses a raging glacial flow below!) This ice arc will be gone by Christmas. They expect the glacier to be gone within 250 years. #globalwarming @natgeotravel taken in Iceland by @gypsykris
