Join us as we celebrate the end of an era at the INTIMÄT basement. A heartfelt tribute to our community, our local scene, and the space that has given us countless unforgettable moments over the past two and a half years.

Thank you for all the love and support you’ve shared. To our family, artists, staff, volunteers, neighbors, and everyone who has been part of this journey: we’re deeply grateful and incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

It’s a bittersweet transition. As one phase ends, another begins — and the future is shining bright ✨ We’re excited for everything that’s ahead ❤️

We’re thrilled to welcome two dear friends and talented artists, Allan Gallego and H1MOD from Florida — both long-time members of the INTIMÄT family.

With this lineup, our intention is to spotlight a few of the many local artists who have been integral to INTIMÄT’s growth and spirit from the very beginning.

Signal Flow Sessions | Patchwork Wednesday
A slow, spacious ambient patch built around 4 modular voices — designed for texture, depth, and evolving modulation.

🎛 Voice 1 – main stab synth
Plaits (wavetable mode) → Doepfer Wasp Filter → Intellijel VCA (modulated by Peaks/Rainier)
Sequenced via Beatstep Pro, with Batumi LFOs routed through attenuated mults to modulate both the oscillator and filter cutoff.

🎛 Voice 2 – background pad/texture
Loquelic Iteritas → Ripples (Lowpass out)
Subtle motion from multiple Batumi LFOs shaping timbre and filter cutoff. Routed directly to mixer. Pitch coming from an attenuated mult of CV data from the Turing machine.

🎛 Voice 3 – intermittent sweeps
Braids → AJH MiniMod Filter → Intellijel VCA
Long envelope shapes from Verbos Multi Envelope. 1v/oct input driven by a Turing Machine sequence. Clocked from Beatstep Pro.

🎛 Voice 4 – rhythmic stabs
Basimilus Iteritas Alter → AJH MiniMod Filter (channel 2) → Mixer
Triggered by Euclidean rhythms via Ornament & Crime (Sequins), clocked by Beatstep Pro. Batumi LFOs modulate tone and filter cutoff.

🔁 Routing Chain
All voices run into an Eurorack mixer with send/return to Happy Nerding FX Aid in Black Hole Reverb mode — each voice sent near 100% for rich, atmospheric tails.
Final mix is sent to the Elektron Octatrack for synced delay and last-stage processing.

🌀 Modulation
Batumi LFOs → attenuated mults → used to modulate filter cutoffs, oscillator timbre, and harmonic shaping across all voices — for continuously shifting textures.

🎚 Manual touches
Filter sweeps and envelope tweaking performed live — sculpting the patch in real time.

Curious about modular synthesis or performing live with Eurorack? I’ll be conducting a workshop on July 15th in Medellín with @academiadecibel and @intelligent_division — all levels welcome.
