Uganda’s breaking dance scene was fully displayed at the Afro Break Championship Uganda Qualifiers 2025, as the country joined Kenya and Tanzania in hosting this electrifying event. From Kampala, Gulu, Mbale, Mityana, Masaka, Wakiso, and even beyond our borders, young dancers took to the floor battling with passion and telling their stories.

Our Switchers were right at the heart of the action, joined by our team leader, @apuulisnr, and the CEO of Afro Break Africa, B-Boy Lyricx. They witnessed firsthand how young Africans use breaking to express themselves and tell their stories.

In the coming posts, our Switchers will bring you the most compelling moments and stories from the championship.

Now, Uganda’s finest breaking talents are gearing up for Accra, ready to take on the continent. The journey has only just begun. Stay Switched!
