Cerebral Palsy may look different for each and every one of us, but there’s one thing we all share in common:

All of our stories deserve to be celebrated, heard, shared, and loved, no matter how cerebral palsy may have changed or impacted our lives.

Today, all four of us are passing along a green shirt in honor of our successes—whether it be in social media, education, motherhood, book publishing or simply having the courage to share our personal stories and experiences.

Because behind every diagnosis is a person.
Behind every person is a life.
Behind every life is a story worth telling.

This morning as I was waking my room up for the day, I spotted the perfect little area for fall pictures. So what did I do? Immediately ordered my favorite smoothie and got ready for a little photoshoot. 🍂🥤

What I was NOT prepared for was said smoothie dripping all over my chin and clothes. That, my friends, is cerebral palsy reflexes for ya 🤣🫶🏻 by @haannahyang

In honor of International Day of Peace, my dear friend Hannah and I (name twins lolz 🤪) thought we’d collaborate—her wildly talented piano skills with my not-so-impressive sign language skills.

“Go Now in Peace” was the first song I ever learned to sign for our Interlake congregation when my dad was a pastor there. I remember signing it every Sunday and feeling such a sense of peace, while also getting to bring a little more diversity and inclusion into our congregation.

All these years later, it’s still played every second Sunday, and I enjoy it every single time I go home. Getting to sign it again—this time with another Hannah on piano—made it extra special.

What a full circle moment 18 years later and I somehow ended up back to where all of it began 🥹💕

When I first received the DM last week asking if I wanted to be apart of Fuel Good Day this year, there was no hesitation nor overthinking- it was an immediate yes.

If I could show that seven year old me who was just learning to walk without a walker, she’d be speechless at the life she created, the friends she’d find and the million of opportunities she’d say yes to.

Today I wasn’t the little girl receiving support from the Movement Centre anymore. I got to stand on the other side and help make sure the next little kid gets their chance.

Mental health is one of the biggest things I’ve shared throughout my whole existence on my platform and now it’s time to be candid, raw and honest.

My year has been filled with grief- it’s been one after another for the last few months.

When I thought I was just going to take a break for a few weeks led to months of suffering behind closed doors and being with the ones I love most.

Life kept moving forward no matter how much I was holding in and somehow by God’s grace I survived. Now I’m ready to share my whole story all over again

But this time

Without the likes

Without the pressure of feeling like I’m inspiring people or perform

Having this mini unexpected break has taught me that I really enjoy having my life private, and a quiet life with the people closest to me.

But this is my way of welcoming myself into content creation because I genuinely enjoy making content and sharing tips from my disability and life

So welcome if you’re new and hang on tight if you’ve been here for years

I’m back- a lot more private and ready to open up ✨ by @haannahyang

I’ve probably tried a thousand different phone cases over the years, constantly searching for one that actually worked for me as someone with a disability and limited hand strength.

Then I discovered @wallicases on TikTok. After what felt like endless research, I decided to try it for myself.

While researching Walli, I realized I wasn’t seeing many reviews from people with disabilities. As someone with cerebral palsy, I wanted to share my honest experience and talk about how this case actually works in everyday life.

And y’all… I wasn’t expecting this. This case has genuinely changed my life. Sometimes, accessibility really does come in the smallest packages. 📦 💜

🇨🇦Canadiaries, Pt 2: Toronto

What can I say about the shine foundation’s more than you see summit 2026? These past two days have been the most eye opening experience but I’ll try to capture the essence of the beauty of belonging and community.

Ever since I was young, I’ve always wanted to feel like I belonged somewhere and that I could find a group of people to call my own. Luckily that feeling came to me when I met my special friend and every day since it has only gotten deeper and deeper but what I’ve experienced over the last 24 hour, I’ve never felt more peace in knowing I’ve found that feeling I was searching for my whole existence.

When Shine asked me to be their ambassador and to come on this trip, I was a bit apprehensive and wondered how it would feel for me as a person who had never been asked to fly for an event like this but when I first stepped in, all my doubts and questions faded.

Over the course of two days, I’ve learnt just how powerful the disabled community is, not only for me personally but as a collective group working towards a mission to create an more inclusive world.

This weekend has truly transformed my entire life and outlook on my disability and as well as my community. So beyond grateful for my shine family, my fellow ambassadors/ friends and to all the amazing things that the disabled community will do next!

So grateful to have had this trip to be a mother and daughter trip!

The highlight and the thing I was most excited about, even with my menstrual cycle😅

Message in a bottle? More like city in a glass 😂

Meeting my instagram besties!!

Sweet baby V! 💕

Even though I don’t like salad, this was the most aesthetically pleasing meal

I was so honored to introduce @accessbytay for a workshop! She’s so wonderful and so knowledgeable about social media and being an influencer

Had to put on the robe and eat in bed🤪

Go Argonauts!

Some more amazing insta besties!

Was my highest honor to introduce a fellow author and he even signed his book for me! 🤩 @marcogpasqua by @haannahyang

Feeling 22🧁

As I celebrate another year of my story, I also said goodbye to one of my bestest friends- an elder who had greatly impacted my life ever since I started day program.

Thank you Gordie for honestly everything.

I’m so honored that you chose my birthday to go home to Jesus. June 18 will forever be a little sweeter and more sacred. 🪽❤️ by @haannahyang
