Epic UW Seattle freshman move-in trip. Flew Adeline and all her stuff to Seattle, dropped her off, and spent a couple days visiting friends and getting her settled. Then we wasted no time starting the empty nesting by flying to the San Juan islands, whale watching orcas, and exploring Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. After a couple days we flew down to Hood River Oregon to spend a couple days by the Columbia River. Loved hiking and exploring the Fruit Loop around MT Hood along with the incredible Timberline Lodge (exterior from the Shining). Then hopped down to SF Bay Area to visit VG for a night and catch up with a college friend. Great flying weather for the last week and a half and smooth skies on every leg. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and we’re so proud of all the hard work, personal growth, and passion she discovered and thrived in at UO. So excited for her future… emotional week with @addy_h_1213 graduating high school and @vg_haase graduating college. ❤️ by @haasemonkey

Well it finally happened…you know when passersby ask what we’re shooting we always say “a mayonnaise commercial.” This time we were telling the truth. This was a spicy one for Hellmanns with a Love Island twist. Director @tyrsen for @nucontext by @haasemonkey

Can’t believe her senior year is coming to a close. Beyond proud of who she’s become and how she continues to think independently and chart her own course. Adeline designed and sewed her own dress from the fabric of another dress. We had fun with these prom photos with her bestie Nicole. by @haasemonkey

After nearly every color session at @company_3 I take the “long way” home, driving up PCH and through Topanga Canyon. Each time I admire the beauty of our pacific coastline and protected open space, and feel so grateful to live in Los Angeles and have raised my family here as a working cinematographer for the last 30 years. I feel so lucky to get to collaborate with interesting and talented people in this beautifully crazy business and city. @tyrsen @bryansmaller by @haasemonkey

Shot this spot for Spectrum featuring Billy Magnussen of The Audacity. We created the behind the scenes set solely for this commercial. It always feels a little strange building a set of just the backside of a set. I needed a large ambient source since the action was covering a decent amount of ground in a Steadicam shot. With limited time and resources we chose to rig some astera tubes on frames and billow diffusion underneath. Swipe for BTS of the BTS look. 🤣 @baconandsonsfilmco2 by @haasemonkey

Loved shooting this spot with director @urischutzer. Collaborating with @daveydeuce, @urischutzer , @randilicious79 and @7captains_grips on the cube design, lighting, and camera movement was super fun. Can you guess how many actual cubes were built for this? by @haasemonkey

Forest + LED wall + Frosty. Swipe for BTS by @haasemonkey

Shot this Spectrum commercial in NY at a great location in Brooklyn. The spot required two different looks which were fun to create. One look was the “in camera” look and one was an “on the set” look. LC and JDM were a pleasure to work with as always. Lots of mixed color light and natural light in a great space. Finally getting around to posting about this one. @baconandsonsfilmco2 by @haasemonkey
