THE BEST CENTRAL CALIFORNIA EATS🌴🍽🍦 recommendations in Monterey County…

☼Shadowbrook Restaurant (Capitola)☼
This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a fancy and top of the line experience. The whole night- from getting out of your car to ending with a sweet dessert- is phenomenal. The parking lot is at the top of the hill, overlooking the central Cali coast. From there, an incline ride takes you to the heart of the restaurant. It has a beautiful panoramic view of the cute surfer town and ocean. There are many small and cozy sections of the restaurant. We were a larger party, so we got seated in our own private room. High class service, entrees, drinks, and more. It’s the perfect place for special occasions🍾🍾

☼Revival Ice cream (Downtown Monterey)☼
We discovered this insane ice cream shop last year when searching for a yummy dairy-free & gluten-free cone. There flavors are unique, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. Not overpoweringly sweet or artificial tasting, this place is the real deal. Their signature and my personal favorite, “Bee’s Knee’s,” is nothing like you’ve ever tasted before. The homemade waffle cones are also a MUST!! My family absolutely loves this place and makes it a priority at least twice when we’re in California 🤩🍦

☼Petra Mediterranean Restaurant (Pacific Grove)☼
Believe me when I say my family has tried an insane amount of middle eastern restaurants- from Halifax, Canada all the way to Southern Florida. With that, I can truly say that Petra is an amazing and high quality restaurant serving up authentic middle eastern food. I’ve tried numerous dishes off the menu and while they’re all delicious, I’d recommend the gyro platter that allows you to sample different items (grape leaves, hummus, etc.). The mjuddara is also a favorite 😋🥙 + swipe for a bonus of Petra trips through the years ↠
