Nearfield Reflections 006

A mentor to me from the very beginning of my career to this day; Sean Woodlock of @hackneyroadstudios has been a constant source of inspiration and knowledge to myself for well over the past decade.

Our first ever cohort of the Record Producer Program has just graduated!

We’re incredibly proud of Ewan (@ewansamms) Delphi (@delphi_music) and Mandy (@agonzalezsosto) for their hard work and progress since September and we are pleased to see that they are all already busy with studio sessions.

“Middle English” is out now 🔉

The track was built around a live recording done this time last year with the mighty @domkirtley at @hackneyroadstudios (home to an unbelievable grand piano that still soundtracks my dreams)

Eternally grateful for the divine inspiration of @pearlfishhh and her mind-melting vocals, unmatched squeezing of the Shruti Box and overall explosion of good vibes. Always in awe 🌻

Thanks to @martavaladon for providing sweet slithers of strings (much more to come from Marta in the next release 👀)

Finally, and most crucially, super-producer @werkhouse. A real sorcerer of sound with a level of patience that should be researched by medical science. God bless ya amico ✨
