Every line, every brushstroke, every tiny adjustment takes time…and that time… becomes part of the piece itself.

That’s what I love about making things by hand. You can see the decisions, the patience, and the imperfections that make each piece feel alive.

In a world where everything is getting faster, I still want to make some things slowly.

This pretty yellow flower has a surprisingly hardworking side. 🌼

Meet Sunn Hemp (Crotalaria juncea), known in Thailand as ปอเทือง.

Farmers grow it not just for its flowers, but for what happens beneath the soil.

It’s a fast-growing legume that helps fix nitrogen, improves soil fertility, suppresses weeds, and can even help manage certain soil pests.

And here’s something I didn’t know: its stems have traditionally been used to make rope, textiles, and paper!

I became fascinated by its delicate yellow petals and long, slender leaves, so I brought some home to draw.

One botanical sketch later, Sunn Hemp became part of my Hada Mundo print collection, imagined across cushions and upholstery.

From a hardworking field crop to a botanical print. I love that this flower has more than one story to tell.

Sometimes the palette knows where the painting is going before I do. 💙

I started with these blues, then found myself looking at old blue-and-white porcelain — and somewhere between the two, these little fish appeared.

Palette → inspiration → process → something new.

I love how inspiration works like that.
You rarely know exactly where it will take you. 🎨

200 years old… and some pieces go back as far as 400. 🏺✨

Hidden in Bangkok, I found antique porcelain fragments given a second life as jewelry — each piece carrying a tiny part of history you can actually wear.

Old, imperfect, and beautifully reimagined. Exactly the kind of treasure I love finding.

🏰Camélia Gardens, Sintra — a place that made me want to look closer.

At first, you see a beautiful historic manor. But once I started drawing it, I began noticing what gives it its character — the curved windows, carved balconies, aged stone, tiled roof, and all the tiny imperfections that are easy to miss at first glance.

That’s what I love about drawing places.

It forces you to slow down and really see them.
