Two months ago I packed up my life, left home, and took a chance on something completely new. Moving to Florida to nanny was one of the biggest decisions I’ve made, and I had no idea just how much it would change me.

These past two months have been filled with early mornings, countless laughs, bedtime stories, little hands reaching for mine, and memories I’ll never forget. There were moments that challenged me, moments that made me miss home more than I expected, and moments where I realized how much I have grown. Being away from everything and everyone I knew wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be, but it taught me independence, patience, and how to appreciate the little blessings that God gives me.

To my aunt and uncle, thank you for welcoming me into your home and trusting me with your biggest blessings. Eliana and Mack thank you for making every day an adventure and for filling my heart more than you’ll ever know. I’m going to miss you both like crazy, you have made these two months unforgettable!

As excited as I am to start my next chapter, it’s so bittersweet knowing this chapter is over. Florida will always hold a special place in my heart because it became so much more than just a place I stayed,it became a place that I can now call home. 🥺 taken in Saint Augustine, Florida by @hadley.sladek
