SCOUT OF THE WEEK|| Creativity, heart, and family have always been at the center of @hadleybiniondesigns. As a graphic designer and brand creator based in Mobile, Hadley has built a business rooted in thoughtful storytelling, helping businesses bring their vision to life through intentional design. From logos to full brand identities, her work reflects a deep understanding of how visual identity shapes the way a business is experienced. For her Volume 9 photoshoot with us, Hadley chose to revisit a concept that has long been close to her heart. Inspired by her original Volume 2 feature, the image once again showcases the logos she has designed over the years, offering a visual representation of the many brands she has helped build. As Hadley shared with us, “The 2019 spread has always been my favorite because it reflected my real life, building a brand with my kids by my side during a season of little ones at my feet. Displaying the logos I’ve designed felt like the most authentic way to convey what I do. Recreating it for Volume 9 was incredibly meaningful. It represents growth in my business and in our family, while reminding me that the heart behind my work has always been the same. It was an honor to update the iconic @mccoy_outdoor_company logo and signage in celebration of their 50th anniversary. McCoy’s has long been the go-to for all things hunting, fishing, and outdoor apparel — not to mention the legendary Joe, master of running shoes — since I moved to Mobile 17 years ago. When the new owners, Carter Thomas and Robin Hollon, reached out to freshen things up for this milestone year, I was thrilled to help them refresh such a beloved local legend. We added a beautiful wood duck to the logo — a nod to their sporting heritage — and the new signage is being installed today. Stay tuned for the big reveal! And at the end, a few flashback memories: my father-in-law gifted me my first pair of hunting boots at our rehearsal dinner — purchased, of course, from McCoy’s. taken in McCoy Outdoor Company by @hadleybiniondesigns
