Hædon

New era, new sound, new name!

Over the years I've developed a new sound and the Byster moniker didn't seem fitting anymore. Despite having had a lot of unforgettable moments as Byster, it felt like it's time for something new.

I'd like to describe this new sauce as mindfuck minimal - it can basically go in any direction, as long as it's true music with soul and intention.

Hædon doesn't only have a really cool æ sign, most of all it associates with Hedonism; "the pursuit of pleasure", Heathen ( which I like to be ) and Heden, Dutch for "now". Seems fitting!

Moreover, the pronunciation is less of a riddle than Byster, which I've heard pronounced in at least 6 different ways.

Anyhow, since I'm playing a set for ADE's @recode showcase, who I'm very happy to have backing me in this new path, it felt like the right time to share this with you.

Follow me on my newfound journey, starting tomorrow at the Q Factory Amsterdam, Atlantis Studio!

Music will always be a driving force in my life and I couldn't quit if I tried.. so let's do it right.

I'll drop a core sound set soon and hope you like it! by @haedon.ism
