Every September 10th takes me back to the traumatic pain of the Jos crisis. Today marks 25 years since I lost my beloved father to that crisis, a terrible childhood experience that left a permanent scar on my heart and changed our family forever. Though 25 years have passed, the memories remain fresh, and the pain of losing you can never truly be erased. We love you, Daddy, but Allah loves you more. May Allah forgive your shortcomings, have mercy on your soul, illuminate and grant you peace in your grave, and admit you into Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah continue to strengthen us and reunite us with you in Jannah. Ameen. 🤲🏽❤️

I am using this medium to advocate for peace in Nigeria. Behind every crisis is a family, and behind every life lost are dreams, memories and loved ones left behind. Every soul matters.
