Bare to Bloom🍁

The leaves fall. The branches go bare.

To be the change, we have to let go, endure the cold and the darkness, and make room for what comes next.

Change means challenges, and the gift is the opportunity to grow.

The only tool used to achieve this look was the “Mizutani Acro Baby Leaf”🍃

This is just the beginning of something much bigger for Canada. 🇨🇦✂️

A little recap of our first Scissors, Sake & Sushi event!

We had the chance to share the story behind Mizutani Shears, the culture, the history, and the craftsmanship that goes into making these tools by hand in Japan.

I think everyone walked away with a much better understanding of what makes Mizutani so special and a deeper appreciation for the tools we use every day.

We’re really excited about what we’re building here in Canada and what this could mean for the Canadian barbering community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, shared a drink, had some sushi, and spent the day with us.

See you at the next Scissors, Sake & Sushi! 🍣🥂✂️ by @haides.gino

Scissors, Sake & Sushi ✂️🍶🍣

Thank you to everyone who came out to Mississauga as we reintroduced the Mizutani Canada team to the community.

This event was just the beginning of building the most connected team of artists nationwide.

Together with @madebybenitez, @martiiinooo & @haides.gino we’ve officially started the search for artists for the “Mizutani Artist Influencer Pathway”.

Stay tuned for the announcements! by @haides.gino

Great stylists never stop expanding their craft.

@kimscissorhandzz is a hair stylist who came to us wanting to sharpen her modern men’s cuts. With three Haides classes now under her belt, she took it further with a 1:1 tailored training session built around exactly what she wanted to master. Her goals, her pace, her chair.

Presenting: HAIDES PORT MOODY 2.0

While our original spot on Spring St. allowed us to build our foundations in Port Moody, we’re excited to continue our growth at our newest location at 2727 Clarke St. - a short walk around the corner from the previous location.

Thank you again to our amazing community for the support. We look forward to servicing you. Stayed tuned! by @haides.gino

This is what the room looks like.

No one here is pretending to have it all figured out. We’re here to understand hair, not just copy techniques.

To learn how to connect with and service real people, not just cut their hair good. To grow the right way, with people who’ve been exactly where you are right now.

A lot of barbers and stylists spend their early years struggling alone when it doesn’t have to be that way.

If you’ve been thinking about taking that first step, or even that next step HaidesEDU is where it starts.
