Warning: long post.. hard share.. but important.

A part of my testimony I haven’t shared yet… that I think might impact some people. Maybe…

So last year end of May… I was coming up on my wedding that was just a week away. It was June 4th. Throughout the whole wedding planning process… nothing was working. Though I was telling myself I was excited for this wedding, it was way too hard to plan and not exciting like it really should’ve been. Picking the music for the wedding was hard. And not as romantic as you would think it should be. The music is supposed to be the easy best part of planning the wedding. Especially as a musician who connects with music. Especially because it is the part that you connect with each other and show how much you love each other. I should’ve been able to have such a sweet playlist for him. I had a playlist for him but it really didn’t mean a whole lot and was probably more telling and I should’ve recognized that. Most of our relationship was pretty contrived. Looking back I see that now. He should’ve gave me those sweet achey butterflies. And when I listened to love songs it should’ve reminded me of how much I loved him. Like really, deeply, truly. And vice versa. Pretty much anytime we finally agreed on something about wedding planning, finances, life, future plans, etc… it would get turned around as an argument again and all of a sudden he would be switching ideas on me again. Even the lots of times I would go with his thoughts or ideas… somehow it would get turned back around on me. Well… anyways. What I really came on here to say was a personal testimony of getting out of this marriage. When I say… I thought Gods voice was silent. I mean I thought he was silent. I asked him all through this relationship if it was okay and if I should keep waiting for him and trusting he would change and I would ask God to tell me strongly if I needed to leave… (pt1: pt2-4 in the comments gotta keep clicking view reply)
