Little fly fish action in western NC to fish the Tuckasegee River with my favorite humans. Such a beautiful area with great fishing! I was a little nervous bringing the littlest one along for the fishing, but she got to do some exploring while we took shifts fishing, see all the fish caught, and even caught a little river snooze. Taking Littles along for adventures can be tricky and requires a ton of patience and a little extra time and effort, but seeing them have a blast and get to experience it alongside you makes up for every bit of it! I noticed the pace slowed and the gap started getting bigger between us. Her little legs and eyes both equally heavy. I loosened my straps, and hoisted her up onto my shoulders.
