The heart behind DOXA Photography Co.

Photography has always been more than taking beautiful images—it’s about preserving stories, emotions, and moments that deserve to be remembered. Whether it’s a milestone, a season of growth, or an ordinary moment that feels extraordinary, my goal is to create timeless photographs that reflect who you are.

A little about me:
• I started photography over 10 years ago. And have had my own business for 5 years!
• I am a dance and a 2nd grade teacher
• Lover of all things furry
• Passionate about creating an experience that feels effortless, personal, and memorable

My approach is simple: I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully present while I document the moments you’ll treasure for years to come.

This peice has ment so much to me and I am so thankful to everyone apart of this process but most of all I’m thankful for Gods faithfulness. This process has been prayerful and seeing God answer prayers faster then I have ever had with supplying us with dancer, music and opportunities to showcase this amazing work.

TESTIMONY is a contemporary dance piece insipired by YN’s testimony with God. No matter your past, or the challenges you may have faced, God loves you and will redeem you. Your story has a purpose and is ment to be shared. This was my first time presenting work in this setting (non-recital or competition) and I know this is just a launch pad for what’s next to come in the future.

To my dancers- Thank you so much for your commitment, faith and love throughout the process. When I asked God for 5 he gave me 6 and I know that is not by accident. Each one of you were ment to be in this work for a reason. Thank you lord for these people!

To Rachael- thank you so much for our amazing customer music track! When obstacles came our way you were able to use your God-given talents and learned skills to help us make an impact on others lives. I cannot wait to see the amazing things you will do in the future (you know when your famous and whatnot) thank you lord for Rachael!

To YN- Thank you so much for letting us use your testimony and allowing us to get a glimpse into your life. You are so kind and your faith and obedience is so admiring. Although you may be across the world, you have impacted lives right here in the USA and you will continue to do so with Gods power. THANK YOU LORD FOR YN!

This summer was for stretching and growing in places I never thought God would bring me. I am so blessed by everyone who has supported me throughout this summer and who believes in the future of sports ministry.

Pics 1-4 FCA NORTHLAND LEADERSHIP CAMP!
This was my 5TH YEAR at camp! It’s crazy how time flies and I’d truly never have it any other way. From camper to emcee, God has been stretching what I know and how to go about sharing my faith with believers and unbelievers. I am so thankful to have spent another year as emcee at this camp. The amazing campers who are vulnerable, ready to take the next step in faith and so so funny. The FCA staff and volunteers who work so hard to support and plan this life-changing camp. And the huddle leaders, who are pouring out their love for Christ and representing what faith in college sports looks like. My gosh, do I just LOVE CAMP! 5 years done ✅, 10 years….. 😏

This had to be one of the coolest experiences I have ever gotten to be a part of, and I would not trade the experience I got for anything in the world. God is so so good within his plan in which he brings people to be getting to serve overseas in a country where the gospel is not openly shared, learn new things about myself, and see how people live out their faith vastly different than me. This was one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever gotten to be a part of. I’m so thankful to God for allowing me this opportunity. In every nation, in every situation, He is king of it all.

FCA camp year 4: the one where they gave her a microphone and let her emcee.

FCA leadership camp is always one of my favorite parts of the year. Getting to see so many young believers who are athletes and leaders in their schools has always been impactful and challenged me to grow in my faith and as a leader. From learning in the classroom to competing on the Field to giving it all to God during worship, God moves in these 4 days in ways many may not expect.

I am beyond thankful to have been able to come back this year as part of the camp staff and get to connect with so many students who have had the most amazing journeys. I am also grateful for everyone who helped me become emcee and allowed me to be a part of this impactful weekend.

Okay, I guess it’s finally my turn to make the sad senior post. The Anoka dance team has impacted my life in more ways than I’ll ever realize. From joining in middle school just because my friends told me too all the way to senior year on the sections floor. The Anoka dance program helped me realize my passion and my love for the sport of dance. I’ve been everything on this team from B squad to JV to varsity from alternate to spot share, injured to swing, and serving as captain for these past two years. There’s something so magical about dedicating all of your summers and all of your winters to one sport and one team getting to better yourself every single day and pushing those around you.

My team- Thank you for allowing me to grow with you. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to lead you and serve you in ways didn’t know was possible. You all have something so amazing and special to offer the world and never let anyone dim your light. I cannot wait to come back and cheer you all on. I love you all so very much!

Seniors- I don’t think words can describe the journey we’ve had from dancing on the tennis courts and staying 6 feet apart to Mocktail parties in Owatonna. We’ve had a crazy ride. There’s no eight other girls I’d rather do it with. I love you all so much. I know you all have amazing futures and I can’t wait to see where we’re all gonna be in five years.

As I wrap up my sappy, senior post, I just want everyone to know how special this team is. Although days can sometimes get hard and long in gym 6. The high school dance experience you only get once, and never take it for granted. Never stop shining your light! The Anoka dance team program is the reason why I started dancing, and although my high school career has come to a close, I’m so excited to announce that my dance career is just getting started. I cannot wait to pursue a degree in secondary dance education at Grand Canyon University!
