I am 9 months post kidney transplant and still battling type 1 diabetes everyday. I am beautiful. I am strong. I am kind. I am loved. I am everything anyone else can be, just fighting “invisible “ diseases. 🤍

This is what type 1 looks like. I went swimming and this was the outcome. Most people may go low from swimming, but me? I sky rocketed. Its not just what we eat, it’s everything we do in our everyday lives. Stress, activity, breathing air even. Ever type 1 is different and today my diabetes wasn’t on my side. We fight every single day to keep ourselves alive. So if you know a type 1 struggling, give them some grace. This disease isn’t easy to deal with. ❤️

2 years ago you asked me to be yours, and Im so thankful I said yes. Lleyton, I love you more than I could ever say. You pick me up when im feeling knocked down and you uplift me every day. God knew what he was doing bringing you to me. For love, for strength, for peace and to build a strong steady relationship with me. Happy 2 year anniversary my love.

My last childhood animal went to jesus today. I knew it was coming. My tears have been shed but I know shes in a better place. Healthy, happy and with charlie our childhood dog. Almost 17 years with this kitty and I wouldnt trade that for the world. I love you lily kitty. Fly high and keep charles company! 🤍🕊️

May is mental health awareness month!

Ive struggled with mental health since the beginning of my teen years. Being bullied throughout school, never thinking i was pretty enough and the constant hate towards me for my own life choices truly impacted my mental health. Along with also struggling with some big autoimmune diseases that made living life a little harder, having support is very important. If you or someone you know is going through something mentally, please check up on them and yourself. Find your person to talk to, find your best way to cope and don’t be afraid to speak up for yourself. Advocate for you! Some situations are stressful and you may think you can’t do it, but hey? You can!

And if you personally aren’t going through anything, don’t assume someone else isn’t. Always be kind to those around you. You never know what might send them over the edge.

Remember: You are loved. You are kind. You can do it. I love you and i know theres others out there who love you as well! ❤️

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago @denise._.mazour and I were asked to be on the Goodtaste with Tanji podcast and share our story. I wanted to share it here so if you’re interested in hearing more from us on what went down and how everything turned out, now you can!

I really opened up here and watching it back I definitely surprised myself. I never thought I would ever open up that deeply about my life growing up and really re live the whole process by talking about it, and I definitely didn’t think I would be doing it in front of a camera! today marks 6 months since I was blessed to have a kidney transplant!

6 months ago today @denise._.mazour made the decision to step in and donate her kidney to me. Denise, without you I wouldn’t be here today doing the things I have been waiting for! God is so good and brought us together for a reason. My second family, and a person I will forever share a bond with, I thank you.

Lets talk about what I have gotten to do since my transplant!
1. Got to go trick or treating 😝
2. had an amazing 19th birthday 🎂
3. got to start the year off great with the love of my life
4. got to visit my long distance best friend 🫰🏼
5. started estitchian school ✨( follow my account pls 😂 @blessedglowbyhailey )
6. Spent a day at the aquarium with family and sweet nieces ( delilah not pictured as she was too busy with the capybaras) 😍
7.saw one of my favorite country artists in concert 🎶
8. got my hair dyed to a color that makes me so confident!! ❤️‍🔥

these last 6 months have been so so sweet to me. I am doing AMAZING! Physically and mentally, i truly am thriving. And i owe it all to God and Denise for giving me a 2nd chance at life ❤️
