Before balloons and flowers became my livelihood, we celebrated my daughter Darla turning three and our love for Dolly with a “Parton Me, I’m 3” party.

I’ve never shared it because I was still very much in my practicing phase, and at the time, all I could see were the things I would do differently. But with Dolly’s passing, it felt like the right time.

Dolly wasn’t afraid to try, create, or fail and neither am I. So here’s a little piece of my story from before I knew where all that practice would lead. 💕 by @haintitpretty
