Congratulations to my friend Nick Yepremian and the entire Destination Smokehouse family on being named 2026 Restaurant of the Year!

Nick started with a small coffee shop and turned it into one of the most talked-about restaurants around. The road came with challenges and controversy, but none of it stopped Nick and his crew from showing up, working hard and serving incredible food.

From the world-famous Black Diamond oxtails, spare ribs, pastrami and Dino beef ribs to the succulent chicken, outstanding sandwiches, side dishes and top-notch desserts, Destination Smokehouse has earned its reputation one plate at a time.

Much respect to Executive Chef Renato, Pitmaster Butcher Bill, and the strong support of Walter French and Josh Briwder. This award reflects the commitment and work of the whole team.

Nick’s commitment to excellence deserves respect. I’m proud of everything he has accomplished, and I’m happy to call him my friend.

Congratulations, brother. Well deserved!

@destinationsmokehouse @destinationmurrieta 🍖🥩🍗🔥

Mad love and big shout out to some familiar faces and some really great folks over at Destination Smokehouse! These guys set the standard for “BBQ & Smokin”! The proof is all in the QUALITY of food their chefs prepare and the overall experience you get when you eat there! 🔥💯👌🏽

Make plans to take that time and pay them a visit ASAP!

(Fun Facts)
Nick’s family and my family both came from the same area of Long Island, NY. We didn’t know each other then, but Fa st forward to about 4 years ago, right when I was just started my own catering business, I got booked by his cousin and I did an event for his family here in Temecula. As a guest there, he told me about his passion for food, BBQ and service. And his dreams and plans for expansion from Hemet to Murrieta…. Fast forward to now, and to see what Nick has built, accomplished and created from his own visions, drive and belief, is absolutely, nothing less than inspirational. Keep going brotha!!

Kenats! 🫡
