Assalamu Alaikum everyone.

I’m making this video to share something very close to my heart.

My brother Ibrahim, who was only 21 years old, returned to Allah in April 2026. His death was completely unexpected, and losing him has been one of the hardest things our family has ever had to go through.

As Muslims, we believe that every soul will return to Allah and that his time in this dunya was already written. Although we miss him deeply, we want to use this opportunity to do something that can continue to benefit him, inshaAllah.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to raise money towards building a masjid in Ibrahim’s name, as a form of sadaqah jariyah.

A masjid is a place where people will pray, learn Qur’an, make dhikr and worship Allah. So even after we are gone, we hope that every salah, every Qur’an recitation and every act of worship there can be a means of reward for Ibrahim, by the permission of Allah.

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, may Allah reward you immensely. And if you’re not able to donate, please share this video and make sincere dua for my brother.

May Allah forgive Ibrahim, have mercy upon him, widen and illuminate his grave, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and make this sadaqah jariyah a continuous source of reward for him.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. With a heart heavy with sorrow, I share the passing of my beloved brother, who has returned to Allah (SWT) the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. This loss is deeply painful, and his absence is felt in every part of our hearts and home. We know that every soul shall taste death, and that our time in this world is only temporary, but that truth does not make the grief any easier to bear.

I pray sincerely that Allah (SWT) envelops my brother in His infinite mercy, forgives all his sins both the hidden and the apparent and accepts every good deed he ever performed, even the smallest acts of kindness. May Allah expand his grave, fill it with light from Paradise, and make it a place of peace, comfort, and tranquility. May he be protected from the trials of the grave and granted ease in his journey to the hereafter.

Ya Allah, raise his rank among the righteous and grant him the highest station in Jannat al-Firdaus, where rivers flow beneath gardens, where there is no sadness, no sickness, no separation, and no death only eternal peace in Your presence. Reunite him with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.

We ask Allah (SWT)to give my family & friends sabr beautiful patience and to strengthen our hearts in this difficult time. Ease our grief, replace our sorrow with faith, and remind us that what Allah takes, He takes out of wisdom, and what He gives is always خير (good).
