At the moment my last post from the Chimei Museum, today as a panorama during golden hour. Pay attention to the Apollo Fountain in the foreground. Behind it, at some distance, the museum, illuminated by the last rays of sunshine that day.

Somehow my Sensoji night photos disappeared from my feed. Here’s one of them again, a night scene at one of Tokyo’s most iconic temple places, with a history going back to 645. The long exposure turns passing people into ghostly figures.

From my recent trip to Tokio, I chose this photo to close 2025. It shows the forecourt of Tokyo Station after a heavy rain.

I thank you all for your support this year, and I wish you a peaceful and inspiring 2026.

My last timelapse from Tokyo. I’ve always wanted to try this — a 16:9 version.
Turn your phone sideways and enjoy this sunset over the rooftops of Tokyo.
You can even spot Mount Fuji far on the horizon.

Reflections at the Anping Canal in Tainan, last night. A quiet, peaceful scene on the west side of the city — too beautiful not to capture.

A quiet sunset last night on the Pacific side in southern Taiwan, at a place called the “Golden Coast”. Layers of gold, violet, and fading blue… and far beyond the horizon, Hong Kong, 650 km away. Amazing how a simple moment can feel so big.

Back in Taiwan, I want to thank everyone who followed and supported me on my trip through Japan. I took so many photos that I’m slowly going through them now. Here’s a long stained-glass window from the Railway Museum in Tokyo that shows the history of Japanese rail travel. The colors, the reflections on the floor, the light… it all felt a bit like walking inside a piece of art. Every panel tells its own story.

A sunrise in my Tokyo neighbourhood, quiet, unplanned, and without any famous landmarks. But the colours, the clouds, and that little sunstar on the buildings still took my breath away. Just a simple moment that felt unexpectedly beautiful. Pls swipe to see all 5.
