Thank you @demurehijabs for supporting these girls with a beautiful array of chiffon hijabs which work perfectly with The Stretchy Hijab Double Pin @doublepinit 🔥 The girls were STOKED 😝

Watch till the end to see their inner beauty moodboards! Some of them and their moms might see this video so hype them up in the comments 🙌🏾

The fact that there’s maybe 30 middle schoolers with an inner beauty vision board hanging in their rooms, and their chiffon hijabs double pinned is literally my love language to the next generation of little Muslimahs 🥰 by @hakeemahcmb

As our children pass over the bridge from girlhood to womanhood, they are inevitably going to be influenced about their image. And when they look up ‘beauty’ online, they will see aesthetics that will make them think they have to change to be acceptable.

While taking care of your appearance is not wrong, and in fact encouraged in Islam, we are constantly reminded that we will not take our physiques with us to the akhirah. Just our deeds will remain.

Let’s teach them to focus on Husnul Khuluq - perfecting character. Inner beauty is far more attractive than outer ✨

Comment below your thoughts💭

How often have you heard that a Muslim man’s ego interfered with a woman’s relationship with hijab? Have you ever judged a woman for wearing a bandana without knowing her past?

“My daughter kept on her hijab all day at school after buying your hijab last Saturday!”

These type of reviews are literally music to my ears! My entire aim of my collection at @cmbstyling is to solve problems for us and make our hijab journey easier and more enjoyable. The little girls are loving their tie-back bamboo hijabs and I couldn’t be happier 😍

So DMV, I’ll see you guys at the @hawa_fairax fall pop-up festival this Saturday? Can’t wait! by @hakeemahcmb

Uyghurs are a Turkic people from East Turkestan, a country that is being occupied by the Chinese government. This Muslim-majority country faces brutal persecution for practicing Islam in their homeland, and many are forced to flee rather than give up their religion. Many have fled to Istanbul, which some have described as the Uyghur second home.

As refugees starting over from nothing, they are in need of our help. That’s where my work with @dropletsofmercyusa comes in. I have traveled two Istanbul twice recently to deliver aid with Droplets, and raised almost $30k

I was blessed to meet @subihi.s recently, an Uyghur young woman who regularly advocates for the rights of her people. She’s heading the Istanbul as well soon in partnership with Droplets and is raising $5k from her community.

I believe it’s our responsibility as an ummah to uplift the Uyghur community. Their only crime is being Muslim in their homeland which is violently being forced into secularism. Especially as non-Uyghurs, we need to do our part to lessen their load - that’s why I’m teaming up with Subihi to help her raise her goal as well.

One way that has helped in the past has been a CLOSET SALE 🎉 So join me on my IG stories this Thursday Oct 22 at 9pm est to shop modest clothing for less and raise $5k for the beautiful Uyghur community in Istanbul

DONT MISS IT! Tap the reminder in my stories to get a notification and check out what’s for sale. ✨Don’t forget to add a generous donation to your purchase as well ✨ by @hakeemahcmb
